We arrived at Natal late at night super exhausted, so we tried to get a rental car to check all the spots between Natal and Fortaleza before going to Cumbuco but as it was already superlate, we couldnt find any well prized rental car, so we just drove by taxi to the next bus station were we waited another 3 hours before entering our bus.The first bus ride didnt take longer then 1 hour, cause the engine broke. So we had to wait another hour for a new bus. We sat 8 hours in the new bus, before arriving in Fortaleza. It was freaking cold in the bus which I didnt really notice, but Pile couldnt find a minute of sleep during the complete bus ride cause he was freezing. Once arrived at the bus station in Fortaleza, we just had to go for a Cab, which drove us all the way up to the Pousada Tropical from Manni.The next 3 or 4 days the wind was really light, and we rided underpowered with our 11m kites. But then, when Julian, another german rider living in Spain, arrived in our pousada, the wind picked up for 5 days and we got to ride with 8m and 9m overpowered, really sick!The last days brought lighter winds again, perfect for 11m, also a quiet big swell arrives constantly at the way down to the lagoon.There are some locals doing really good tricks and also Aaron, Randy, Bjoern, Mallory and Rui are training here, so everyone gets motivated to go bigger and better again and again, still there is no competition feeling, really just fun!Since yesterday, Randy, his girlfriend Pauline, Pile, Julian and I share a car, so now we can drive to other spots and film there!
