Competitionssssss…

Yesterday and today a Local Competition took place in Coche. There were separated categories for International Riders, Locals and Masters, so I entered in the Internationals to get used to competition riding again. In the end we were only 6 guys in the internationals, so there weren’t many heats. On Friday I did the first heat were 1 of 3 guys advanced straight to the final and I won that heat. Today in the morning it was time for the finals, I had to go against Petr Tyuschkuwitschk from Russia. We both ride pretty well in that one, I did everything without leash because it just opened after the second trick I did in the heat, so it was a heat full of Adrenalin for me and I was happy not to lose the kite, anyway Petr did better and advanced. In the afternoon, I had to ride against Petr again in the doubles, this time we both were super overpowered, I put my kite so low and just went for normal and switch Handlepassvariations and a Kiteloop Handlepass, but Petr also went for a very sick double sbend pass and a frontmobe 7, so I lost again and got second in the end. It’s cool to have ridden in a competition again after such a long time and now I’m really motivated to work hard towards the First PKRA Stop here in Coche. Also here since a few days and some who arrived today are Mike Bloomvall and the whole Tarifa Crew. Everybody is going for the doubles, some do it very flysurflike, others don’t do them as consistent but then do it with more style. Anyway, the level picked up a lot again and the best is still to be seen!Have fun!Silvester
