- HUB CITY - Hub City, a fictional city in the DC Universe, isbest known as the home to The Question, a self-taught urban shaman.The last time we saw the city on Arrow was when Esrin Fortunahelped Oliver take on Damien Darhk...and of course, when Hub Citystarted to show up in showrunner Marc Guggenheim's tweets thisyear, there was plenty of speculation that he was teasing TheQuestion. Turns out, he was teasing the Black Canary!
- BIG BELLY BURGER - Big Belly Burger, a fictional fast-foodrestaurant in the DC Universe, is the fast food of choice forpeople who are in hiding, in jail, or otherwise cut off from theworld on The Flash. Here, we saw Team Arrow hanging out there inHub City while Felicity got it delivered to her in the Arrowcaveduring her side quest.
- FAMILY SECRET - When Talia refers to her agelessness as a"family secret," it's the kind of cutesy clue that Nyssa used todrop in her early appearances, where she didn't directly name-dropRa's al Ghul or the Lazarus Pit, but made references that werepretty clear to people in the know. Back then, of course, we alwayswondered whether Ra's would ever make an appearance. Now, he's comeand gone, and we know that this kind of vague dialogue is mostly tokeep continuity tidy so that Oliver doesn't realize exactly whohe's dealing with when Ra's and Nyssa come in later.
- THE FLASH & CAPTAIN SINGH - In what Marc Guggenheim tweeted wasthe quickest crossover Arrow has ever done with The Flash, we gotto see Barry speed (in costume) into his boss's office to vouch forGreen Arrow. What's nice to see is Captain Singh, Barry's boss, whohasn't been seen much this season. It felt a bit like last night,when the long-absent Miss Tessmacher from Supergirl had a quickcameo on The Flash.
- SONUS - Sean Sonus, alias Discord is a sonic villain who fightsGreen Arrow and Black Canary. He first appeared in Green Arrow andBlack Canary #15, and was co-created by Arrow EP Andrew Kreisbergand artist Mike Norton.
- DINAH DRAKE - "Dinah Drake" is actually the name of theoriginal/Earth-2 Black Canary, who existed in the comics beforeDinah Lance did.

Marc Guggenheim, the show's executive producer, shared a cover ofthe new episode's script, and let fans know that it was beginningproduction. Episode 17 will be titled 'Kapot', which is a Russianword meaning 'cowl' or 'hood'.

Actually, when TVLine last spoke to Wendy Mericle, the Arrowscribes were in the midst of hashing out a return scenario forLittle Miss Benedict Arnold. “We have a really cool, exciting twistfor how she’s going to reappear,” the EP teased, noting: “Theinteresting thing about the choices Evelyn has made is that as muchas she took the moral high ground when confronting Oliver, she hasallied herself with someone who is even worse,” in Prometheus.“She’s gone from the frying pan into the fire.”

This footage was seen in 2012, and it talked alot about Oliver Queen's return to the real world, after he wasthought to be dead. The trailer shows Oliver on the island, beardand all, as well as his assimilation back into society.

“Tina Boland” is her undercover name; her real name is Dinah Drake.If that sounds familiar, that’s because Dinah Drake is the name ofthe original Black Canary. Dinah debuted in 1947’s “Flash Comics”#86 as Black Canary. Later, she married a man named Larry Lance andsubsequently changed her name to Dinah Lance. Inspired by Dinah,her daughter Dinah Laurel Lance would go on to become a foundingmember of the Justice League. When the New 52 restarted DC Comics’continuity, the Black Canary legacy was retconned, and Dinah Drakewas restored as the one and only Black Canary. This New 52 versionof Dinah Drake was formerly married to Kurt Lance, but the twodivorced.

Helix was a supervillain group led by Dr. Benjamin Love, aka Mr.Bones. The members were six mutated children who had beenexperimented on and then kidnapped by Love. They grew up to be arather bizarre cast of characters, including Kritter (a human/doghybrid) and Baby Boom (a young child who can cause explosions withher mind). It's safe to assume that any future appearances of Helixwill certainly be way more grounded in reality - with any mentionof the original characters probably being used as onlinescreennames. This is similar to the inclusion of the secretorganization Shadowspire in Arrow, which was given a much morerealistic makeover. When recently discussing the dynamic betweenFelicity and Diggle going forward, Arrow executive-producer WendyMericle mentioned that the events in 'Second Chances' will playinto the rest of the season. "Part of what kicks [Felicity] offdown this darker path is she's going to find evidence to exoneratehim -- and [Diggle's] going to have to deal with the fallout of thefact that Felicity is now going down a questionable path in partbecause of him." With that in mind, there's a very good chance thattonight's episode will not be the last time we hear of Helix onArrow.

Unveiled by David Harewood, the teaser for “The Martian Chronicles”depicts the actor as Martian Manhunter alongside Melissa Benoist asthe Girl of Steel, accompanied by the tagline, “Worlds Clash.Heroes Unite.” In the episode, a White Martian arrives in NationalCity to capture M’gann and return her to Mars, where she’s to bepunished as a traitor. Unwilling to allow that to happen, HankHenshaw and Supergirl bring M’gann to the Department ofExtra-Normal Operations for protection, only for circumstances toturn from bad to worse.

Earlier this month, EW exclusively revealed that Robbie Amell isreturning to The Flash for an upcoming episode. Details on hisreturn are still scarce, but the actor gave EW a little tease ofwhat to expect. “I was there last week,” he shared at Honda’s“Hockey Goes Hollywood” event in Los Angeles. “I can tell you thatmy scenes are with Grant [Gustin] and Danielle [Panabaker]. And Imay or may not be alive.” That last part is key, considering thelast we saw of Ronnie, he died as a result of destroying thesingularity that opened up the path to Earth-2, where that planet’sRonnie was a villain named Deathstorm. Being back on Flash isalways a treat for Amell, who got to catch up with his TV wife andformer superhero partner and have his first true Ronnie and Barryscene.

Deadline has learned that Black Lightning, the high-profile dramabased on the DC character, which had a big production commitment atFox, is on the move and likely to land at the CW. The project comesfrom Greg Berlanti, king of the CW’s DC universe. Fox brassultimately decided that the superhero show was not a good fit. TheCW is home of Berlanti Prods.’s four DC/WBTV superhero series —Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow, whichBerlanti also co-created. That makes the network a suitable homefor Black Lightning, which would give the CW’s DC universe itsfirst major African American superhero. Black Lightning would bethe only black superhero toplining his own broadcast series and thesecond currently on TV, joining Marvel’s Luke Cage onNetflix.
